What we collect, and what we do not
Last updated 19 August 2026
Latex Labs is operated by Let Nicole Help. This page covers latexlabs.app only. Asset Assign and Invoice Incognito are separate services with their own privacy policies; using them is covered there, not here.
The short version: the only personal information you give us is what you type into the form, and the only reason we collect it is to email you about the lab. Separately, we count visits with Google Analytics, which is described below.
What the form collects
| Your email address | Required. The only field you have to fill in. |
|---|---|
| Waitlist choices | Optional. Which experiments you want to hear about first. |
| Which experiment to run next | Optional. A choice from the list, or your own idea if you type one. |
| What you have tried | Optional. Free text, in your own words. |
There is nothing else. We do not ask for your name, your business details, or anything about your customers.
What this site does not do
- No accounts. There is nothing to sign into and no password to store.
- No advertising. We do not run ads here and we do not build advertising audiences from your visit.
- No selling or sharing. We do not sell, rent, or trade your information, and we do not pass it to anyone beyond the services listed below.
Visitor measurement
This site uses Google Analytics to count visits, the same as Asset Assign and Invoice Incognito. It tells us how many people came, roughly where from, and which pages they read. We use it to know whether anyone is finding the site.
Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser so it can tell a repeat visit from a new one. It also records the pages you view, the site or search that sent you, and general details about your browser and device. Google uses your IP address to work out roughly which country you are in and then discards it; it is not stored.
We see this as counts and charts, never as a list of people. It is not tied to your email address, and signing up for the lab list does not connect you to it. What Google does with the data is governed by Google's privacy policy.
If you would rather not be counted, any tracker blocker will stop it, as will Google's own opt-out browser add-on. Nothing on this site behaves differently if you do; you can still read everything and the form still works.
There is no cookie banner. That is a deliberate choice rather than an oversight: this is a two-page site for balloon and event decor businesses, and we would rather tell you plainly here than make you dismiss a box before you can read anything.
Who else handles it
Running a website and sending email means other companies touch the data. These are the only ones, and each one only sees what it needs.
| Service | What it does |
|---|---|
| Cloudflare | Hosts this site and receives your form submission. Also runs the spam check on the form, which looks at your browser and network to tell a person from a bot. Cloudflare says it processes only what that check needs, and that it does not read what you type into forms. |
| Resend | Emails your submission to us. This is temporary, while the mailing list is being set up. |
| Google Analytics | Counts visits and sets the cookies described above. It never sees what you type into the form. |
| Mailchimp | Stores the mailing list and sends the emails. When you sign up, Mailchimp sends you a confirmation email first: you are not on the list until you click it. |
Technical logs
Cloudflare keeps short-lived technical logs for this site, held for up to seven days and then deleted. They exist so we can tell whether something is broken. They record things like your IP address and which page was requested, and if a signup fails they can briefly contain the email address that failed, because the error message includes it. We do not use these logs to build a picture of you.
How long we keep it
Your email address stays on the mailing list until you unsubscribe or ask us to remove it, whichever comes first. Your answers to the two optional questions are stored alongside it and go when it goes. There is no other copy, apart from the notification email in our own mailbox and the logs described above.
Your choices
- Leave at any time. Every email has an unsubscribe link at the bottom, and it works immediately.
- Ask what we hold. Email us and we will tell you, and send you a copy.
- Ask us to delete it. Email us and we will, and confirm when it is done.
You do not need a reason and you will not be asked for one.
Children
This site is for people running balloon and event decor businesses. It is not intended for children, and we do not knowingly collect anything from them. If you think a child has signed up, email us and we will remove it.
Changes
If this changes, the date at the top changes with it. If it ever changes in a way that affects people already on the list, we will say so in an email rather than quietly editing this page.
